So our good friends over at Tangible Worldwide launched a new fun site that everyone needs to go check out. Its called grabbabeast.com and it lets you build you own beast…BUILD YOUR OWN BEAST! I mean, come on bro. Anyways you should go check it out. I was pretty hyped and played around on it for a good 30 minutes.
The Jolby guys who work over at Tangible are really talented and they just had a little art show in Portland, Oregon a couple weeks ago. I wish I could have been there to see the opening. Check out some of the photos HERE.
Whats even better is that I think they are going to be working on a board for us this year… Super exciting. More to come on that.

Our good friend Seth Huot just sent us this little video he shot. He is in Oahu this week staying at the Volcom house for the Pipeline Pro. We sent with him one of our new little cruisers, The Pier which our latest TW Surf ad will be highlighting. Pretty amped and jealous that he gets to stay at the Volcom house. That house is legendary, not because Volcom owns it now but maybe the fact that it was once the Gerry Lopez house.
Check out THIS little video of Gerry and Herbie Fletcher talking about the house.

Check out this amazing little inspirational video. If Thomas Campbell doesn’t inspire you to paint I’m not sure what will. Thank you Gravis for making this video possible, and look who directed it… the one and only Alex Kopps. So amazing.
And I can’t forget the music that was done by my good friends the Mattson 2. Keep an eye out for those 2 talents. They helped us out with one of the new Spring 2010 Longboards. Looks tight.

Congratulations to STEVE POTWIN! The winner of the Goldcoast x Concrete Wave Cover Contest!!!
Once again we want to thank everyone who submitted photos. It was difficult for us to pick a winner considering how awesome all the entries were.
Here is what Chris Brunstetter, Marketing Director for Goldcoast had to say:
“We’re so stoked on Steve’s photo, we really felt it captured what this whole contest was about: cooperation. Thanks to all the photographers who contributed work to this, maybe next time there can be 100 different covers and we can showcase more work!”
Steve’s photo will be appearing on the cover of Concrete Waves Buyers Guide coming out this April!
A little bit about the winner: Steve has been shooting photos and pushing his skateboard around since he was a young lad. He has always felt that the two go hand in hand and the combination feels “Natural” to him. He strives to capture the raw energy of skateboarding in all of his photographs.
Steve photos can be seen on POP from Vans and Armourdillo. He has also had 5 of his photos displayed at the Tim Braunch Memorial Art Exhibit.
Not only that but here is proof that Steve rips in front of the lens too.
